IT Support Specialist responsible for supporting Windows-based computing environments, desktop applications, networking fundamentals, and basic security-related support activities. Job Requirements Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals Knowledge of Windows operating systems Experience using standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office Experience using intranet and internet-based functions Knowledge of computer security policies General knowledge of computer security concepts Up to 1+ year of IT experience preferred Recent college graduates considered Preferred Skills Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies Exposure to scripting, automation, or programming concepts Experience with PowerShell Experience with VB/VBA Experience with Python Experience supporting desktop computing environments Job Responsibilities Support Windows-based desktop computing environments Assist with basic hardware, software, and network-related issues Support Microsoft Office and other standard desktop applications Assist with intranet and internet access issues Apply established computer security policies and procedures Support basic computer security troubleshooting and user access issues Use scripting or automation tools to support IT tasks when applicable Support use of AI-enabled productivity tools as required
