Full-time Salary:

$150,000 - $230,000 per annum Experience level: 10-15 years in systems design and architecture

Certifications:

TOGAF 9 Certified and AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Designing end-to-end system architectures that balance scalability, reliability and maintainability Defining technical standards, patterns and best practices across engineering teams Evaluating and recommending cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling and deployment strategies Collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate strategy into technical roadmaps Mentoring and guiding technical teams through complex architectural decisions Documenting system designs using UML and other architectural modeling approaches Leading architecture review processes and providing technical direction on key initiatives What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 10-15 years of experience in systems design, enterprise architecture or equivalent technical leadership 5+ years leading or mentoring technical teams Strong expertise in designing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures Proficiency with UML and architectural documentation standards Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and DevOps practices TOGAF 9 Certification or AWS Certified Solutions Architect qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have Experience with additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) Background in financial services, healthcare or other regulated industries Exposure to emerging technologies such as containerization, serverless architectures or event-driven systems What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Opportunity to shape technical vision and influence the direction of enterprise systems Scope to mentor and develop engineering talent, with clear pathways for technical leadership Exposure to complex, mission-critical challenges with meaningful business impact Collaborative environment working alongside product, engineering and executive leadership Professional development support, including conference attendance and certification sponsorship Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, retirement planning and flexible work arrangements where applicable About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group is a leading recruitment partner dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with transformational opportunities across technology, engineering, and professional services.
