We are looking for a senior hands-on virtualization architect/SME who has actually migrated VMware workloads to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization in production . This is not a general VMware, Kubernetes, or OpenShift administrator role. ???? Absolute Must-Haves VMware ? Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization migrations - direct hands-on migration experience is the #1 requirement. MTV / Forklift - Migration Toolkit for Virtualization experience. KubeVirt administration and troubleshooting. Strong OpenShift Virtualization / OCP experience. OpenShift Platform Plus (OPP) experience. Advanced Migration Management (ACM) experience. ArgoCD + GitOps for managing OpenShift environments. Experience with multi-site / multi-cluster migration programs . Migration automation using Ansible, Python, Bash, or similar. Experience executing production cutovers , validation, rollback planning, and post-migration support. Operational readiness - preparing engineering/operations teams to support the migrated environment.
