We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America. Compensation for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. As an Integrations Engineer at RXO, you'll play a critical role in analysis, design and solution engineering, working closely with developers and analysts. You'll lead day-to-day technical execution of TE migration, API projects in Apigee, Legacy EDI platforms scalability and maintenance. What your day-to-day will look like: Collaborate with architects, other systems engineers, project managers, systems administrators, and operations analysts to design, code review, troubleshoot and implement solutions Evaluate and optimize process and logic patterns, database structure, data storage methods and operating environment interfaces that effectively satisfy business requirements and quantifiable measures; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established department standards Evaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed software solutions; introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved software solutions; guide software engineers. Design, develop, and unit test IBM B2bi, SFG, SSP by utilizing techniques in engineering, and mathematical analysis to lead efforts for customers and system upgrades Train team members on advanced development concepts and organization standards Conduct thorough testing, perform root-cause analysis and provide L2/L3 support for integration issues in a multi-platform production environment Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data mappings, interface specifications, and process flows, ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocols Implement solutions using message queues like IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or cloud messaging services to ensure efficient and reliable asynchronous communication and data processing At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or equivalent related work or military experience One year of experience as an Engineer, Integrations or related and all the following skills Experience with EDI and API platforms such as Apigee, Boomi, IBM Sterling File Gateway, MQ with solution Administrative and Development experience in medium to large corporate environments Experience with data transformation and data representation technologies (Model entities, XML, XPATH, XSLT) Process communication techniques (AS2, SFTP, JMS) Experience with iPaas platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft is desired Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud.
