Job Description

Morales Professional Service is currently conducting a search for an experience Quality Engineer, with an Automotive background that has experience with quality management systems, to come in, at a time of growth to help in the area of customer quality and corrective actions, assist with process improvement and statistical quality, quality systems and technical leadership.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and resolving customer concerns and facilitating irreversible corrective action into manufacturing. Responsible for working with Design Engineering to develop Quality for manufacturing. Coordinates the activities and resources of Customer Liaisons. Responsible for adherence to process/procedures, assisting with quality systems and to ensure optimum quality is maintained during the manufacturing process, adhering to
IATF16949
Standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting customer quality and manufacturing quality by serving as a liaison between customers, operations, engineering, and quality teams. Investigated customer complaints, returns, nonconformances, and internal quality issues; identifies root cause; and leads corrective and preventative actions to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction. Supports MSA studies and statical analysis and maintain effective quality systems through internal audits. Document controls, calibration awareness, and IATF compliance. Serves as a technical resource and trainer for supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production teams to strengthen quality knowledge and sustain process improvements. Responsible for managing, designing, and improving the quality management system to ensure products and processes meet company standards and maintain certifications to ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role. Strong analytical skills with experience in Minitab or equivalent statistical software to support SPC/DOE analysis. Working knowledge of
IATF 16949.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. Power Automate helpful. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. #MP1
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
