ALM & DevOps Transformation Lead Job Description Summary We are seeking an ALM & DevOps Transformation Analyst to help shape and enable a consistent, modern, and scalable delivery model across IT. This role will act as a trusted advisor and change agent, working horizontally across business, product, platform, security, and delivery teams to harmonize Application Lifecycle Management, Agile, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate brings a strong product and systems mindset, balances governance with agility, and helps teams at varying levels of maturity adopt modern delivery practices, ranging from foundational agile execution to advanced CI/CD and automated release capabilities. Job Duties Define, implement, and continuously evolve a standard enterprise ALM and delivery framework that supports consistent execution while allowing for team-specific needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on ALM, Agile, and DevOps strategy, tooling, and delivery models. Partner with PMO, architecture, security, and platform teams to align intake, governance, funding, and delivery flow. Design and improve standardized intake and demand management processes, reducing handoffs and improving prioritization transparency. Enable delivery teams to adopt a product-oriented, agile mindset, tailoring approaches based on team maturity. Assess delivery maturity across teams and tailor enablement approaches accordingly; establishing foundational ALM and agile practices for teams at earlier stages of delivery maturity; while enabling advanced DevOps adoption including CI/CD optimization, automated testing, release automation, and GitOps for advanced teams. Promote reuse and platform thinking by enabling shared pipelines, templates, tooling standards, and golden paths. Define and operationalize delivery and flow metrics (e.g., lead time, predictability, deployment frequency, quality) to enable data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with distributed teams to identify and remove systemic impediments across the release train. Ensure secure, reliable, and low-risk deployments by partnering with security and cloud governance teams. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field. 8+ years of experience in software delivery, ALM, Agile, or DevOps environments. 5+ years of experience as an ALM, Agile, or DevOps coach/enablement role. Strong experience with enterprise ALM and agile tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira), including workflow and process customization. Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Azure DevOps). Experience with GitOps and/or AIOps is a plus. Proven ability to influence without authority and drive change across multiple teams. Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
