Job Description

Description Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite-based systems in support of the Fort Meade customer. This role works across hardware, software, networking, and RF components, with a focus on communication and signal processing systems. The position supports requirements analysis, system design, integration testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Design, integrate, test, and deploy data center solutions for satellite-based systems Support end-to-end systems engineering activities across hardware, software, networking, and RF components Conduct requirements analysis and support system design documentation Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Support communication and signal processing system development and deployment Maintain technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and system artifacts Collaborate with engineering, operations, and mission teams to ensure system performance and reliability
Qualifications Requirements:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with ths customer Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required 7+ years of relevant systems engineering experience required Experience with Linux and Windows environments required Experience with FORNSAT systems required End-to-end systems engineering experience required Experience supporting satellite-based systems, communication systems, or signal processing environments Experience working across hardware, software, networking, and RF components Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills Salary Range USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
