Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Sr. Blue Yonder WMS (Warehouse Management System) Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Blue Yonder WMS solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level logistics and supply chain projects, leveraging your expertise to drive operational excellence. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate across departments to deliver innovative warehouse management solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Your energetic approach and solution-oriented mindset will be vital in transforming complex business requirements into seamless system architectures. Duties Lead the end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder WMS, ensuring alignment with client business processes and technical standards. Develop detailed solution architecture designs, integrating Blue Yonder WMS with existing IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and third-party applications such as Salesforce or Pegasystems. Configure and customize Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet specific client needs, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and labor management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, system engineers, and developers—to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions. Conduct system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution to ensure optimal operation of warehouse management systems. Implement system integration strategies utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, and scripting languages like Python or Shell Scripting for seamless data exchange. Support continuous improvement initiatives through SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices, version control tools like Git, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Skills Extensive experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementation and configuration in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture principles, and systems engineering concepts. Proficiency in database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and related data integration techniques such as ETL processes. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware), load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols. Skilled in application development using JavaScript, Python, C++,.NET frameworks, and web services including SOAP and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for automated testing and deployment. Strong analytical skills in business analysis and requirements gathering to develop comprehensive system design documents. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), system hardening, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence. Experience working within SDLC frameworks using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions efficiently.
