SRE / Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary Our client a leading Retail & Consumer Goods provider is seeking a SRE / Infrastructure Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, production systems, and DevOps processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role will focus on maintaining system reliability, resolving escalations, and contributing to scalable infrastructure and monitoring solutions. This is a hybrid role — candidates must be local to Irvine, CA and available to work onsite Wednesdays and one additional day per week (manager flexible). Core Responsibilities Design and manage cloud infrastructure and services aligned with enterprise SLA standards Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues, including occasional off-hours support Handle escalations and implement solutions to prevent recurring incidents Build and maintain scalable monitoring and observability systems Contribute to code repositories and CI/CD pipelines Write and maintain technical and production documentation Collaborate with internal teams to support system reliability and performance Support ongoing improvements in infrastructure, automation, and processes Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering Background in software development, SDLC, and IT operations/support Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure design Hands-on experience with Terraform or CDK Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and version control Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Lumigo, or AWS native tools Strong troubleshooting and escalation handling experience Proficiency with tools such as Jira and exposure to databases (Aurora preferred) Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills Adaptable mindset with willingness to learn new technologies

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:

The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $47.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
