About the Role We are seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to join the Cyber Security Platform Support Enterprise Services Technology Team. This role supports critical enterprise applications and infrastructure by ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and availability across a complex technology environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting production systems, managing incidents, and collaborating across infrastructure and application teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain operational excellence in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
Location Chandler, AZ Hybrid Work Schedule:
Minimum 3 days per week in office Additional approved location: Chandler, AZ Contract Duration 24-Month Contract Work Schedule Friday through Tuesday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Flexibility to support a 24x7 environment Weekend, holiday, and on-call support required as needed Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours during critical incidents Responsibilities Support enterprise-scale applications, systems, databases, and infrastructure platforms. Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents. Monitor system health, availability, and performance across supported environments. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to identify and resolve system outages. Drive incident, problem, and change management activities through established operational processes. Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions and process improvements. Contribute to the stability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise platforms. Support large-scale computer systems and network infrastructure within the technology operations environment. Escalate critical issues appropriately and maintain clear communication throughout incident lifecycles. Participate in team meetings, operational cadences, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience or equivalent combination of education, military experience, training, and work experience. Experience supporting production systems in a large enterprise environment. Working knowledge of multiple technology platforms, including: Linux Windows Server/Operating Systems AutoSys Harness ServiceNow Terraform Enterprise (TFE) Cloud Management Portal BigPanda AppDynamics ThousandEyes Splunk Experience with: Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational support environment.
