The Senior Architect provides architecture leadership for the TA Reimagine program and its supporting applications, integrations, platforms, and data services. This role partners with business leaders, product owners, engineers, vendors, and Enterprise Architecture to define and the future-state Talent Acquisition technology strategy.

The role is responsible for establishing current-state and target-state architectures, guiding modernization efforts, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards. The Senior Architect serves as the lead architect for TA technology initiatives, providing technical leadership, governance, and oversight across the full solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain architecture roadmaps, standards, and target-state designs for the TA technology ecosystem.

Translate business capabilities and program objectives into scalable solution architectures and implementation plans.

Lead architecture decisions across recruiting, candidate engagement, interviewing, assessments, offer management, onboarding integrations, reporting, and analytics.

Drive application modernization, integration, migration, and platform rationalization initiatives.

Design secure, resilient, cloud-enabled solutions leveraging APIs, event-driven architectures, SaaS platforms, and enterprise services.

Establish integration patterns and data flows across recruiting, HCM, identity, collaboration, analytics, and third-party platforms.

Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, accessibility, performance, and resiliency requirements.

Lead architecture governance activities, including design reviews, risk assessments, and Architecture Review Board engagements.

Partner with engineering teams throughout delivery to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness.

Mentor architects and engineers while promoting architecture standards and engineering best practices.

Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in application architecture, solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.

Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Human Capital Management (HCM), or workforce technology platforms.

Experience leading architecture for large-scale modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise platform implementations.

Strong knowledge of application architecture, integration architecture, cloud technologies, data architecture, security, and DevOps practices.

Experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications and services.

Experience with API, microservices, event-driven, cloud-native, and SaaS integration patterns.

Experience integrating enterprise and third-party platforms within complex technology ecosystems.

Knowledge of identity management, data privacy, security, regulatory requirements, and non-functional architecture principles.

Experience presenting architecture recommendations and technical tradeoffs to governance forums and senior leadership.

Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience leading Talent Acquisition or recruiting technology transformation programs.

Knowledge of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition lifecycle and associated technologies.

Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Workday Recruiting, SuccessFactors, Phenom, Eightfold, Avature, or related platforms.

Experience integrating recruiting platforms with HCM, analytics, identity, and collaboration solutions.

Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
