VR Goals
Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Description
About VR Goals VR Goals is the operating system for vacation rental management companies. Accounting, revenue, tasks, guest services, CRM, HR, and tax filing are built natively into one platform instead of stitched together from a dozen point solutions. We launched publicly in late 2026, we are bootstrapped, and we are onboarding operators faster than we can staff it. What you will own
- Own customer implementations end to end: kickoff, data migration, PMS integration, go live
- Sit inside customer operations, learn how each management company actually runs, and configure the platform to match
- Write the code the deployment needs: migration scripts, custom reports, data mappings, one off integrations
- Turn repeated custom work into product, and feed that back to engineering
- Be the technical owner of the account through the first 90 days What we are looking for
- 4 or more years writing production software, ideally TypeScript and SQL
- You have worked directly with customers, not behind a ticket queue
- Comfortable with messy real world data and migrations that do not go cleanly
- You debug in production and you own the outcome, not the ticket
- Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM
- Vacation rental, property management, or hospitality software background
- Prior forward deployed, solutions engineering, or implementation engineering role Why this role Every implementation you finish becomes product.
