Job Description

Position Summary:
This position will join the Dynamics 365 team as a cross-domain engineer. The incumbent be a key technical contributor in Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Office365 projects, focusing on backend development, leveraging PowerShell, database knowledge, and a willingness to learn/investigate new problems.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
Meet annual billable hour goal, as defined by HBS. This number may change over time as the business evolves. Provide 6 hours/week of support for project and escalated incident management tickets for current customers with focus on customer satisfaction and quality. Work with business leaders outside of IT to develop solutions. Introduce innovation to profitably grow each client's business. Cultivate effective communication with others throughout all levels of the organization. Communicate key messages at both Executive and technical leadership levels. Be a thought leader on the team in designing, coding, unit testing software. Lead development activities using cutting edge technologies to match the fit for our customer from a time, budget, and technical needs. Estimate development effort required to deliver small and large projects. Mentor other developers in developing scalable, secure, responsive applications. Follow Agile development practices for delivering software components. Design reusable services and components to build composite applications. Provide leadership role in designing applications for our customers. Lead pre-sales activities including meeting prospective clients and using your expertise to highlight how Microsoft technologies can solve everyday problems; follow-on presales activities will include solution design, proposal writing, and project estimating. Dedicate time to researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies related to Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Power Apps, Dynamics365 for Sales, and the broader suite of Microsoft productivity applications). Delight clients by delivering Microsoft-based solutions that simplify their business processes. Publish internal and external blog articles. Build lasting customer relationships based on exceptional customer service and support, best in class solution quality, and open and honest communication. Share, build, and follow team quality processes in projects and support activities. Fulfill a leadership role in relevant user groups to build skillsets as well as the HBS brand in the marketplace. Embrace new challenges in similar or parallel workstreams as needed.
