Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a CI/CD Platform Engineer for a position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This position is fully onsite.
Compensation:
$50.00 - $52.50 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This role involves building and operating a reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery platform that enables thousands of developers to efficiently and safely ship software. The successful candidate will have solid technical fundamentals, strong interpersonal andmunication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and support CI/CD platform services alongside senior and lead engineers
Own well-scoped deliverables within the Development Platforms organization, escalating blockers early
Demonstrate an automation-first mindset to ensure efficient and reliable delivery established security,pliance, and observability practices in the work you deliver
Build and maintain metrics and dashboards that track platform health against defined SLIs and SLOs
Troubleshoot production incidents, participate in an on-call rotation, andplete assigned remediation follow-ups
Participate in code and design reviews, document your work, and help teams adopt platform capabilities
Primary Requirements:
Bachelor's degree inputer science, information systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation and how to it with services such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or Circle CI
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of AWS
Experience with JFrog Artifactory
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tooling and automation, such as GitLab CI (preferred), GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts such as reproducible builds, SBOMs, and dependency hygiene
Experience building, storing, and deploying software artifacts (binaries, packages, containers) and supporting their lifecycle, security, andpliance
Experience monitoring application health and performance using tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Experience creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience troubleshooting Linux-based operating systems, networking, and applications
Experience developing services and scripts that interact with APIs using languages like Python or TypeScript
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies
Ansible Tower
Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager
Certifications relevant to cloud (AWS preferred), platforms, and security are a plus
