Functions as the Administrator and technical advisor for the implementation and integration of medical equipment and associated information systems including EMR, PACs, MUSE, etc., as well as RTLS systems. Demonstrates knowledge of installation, maintenance, modification, construction of highly complex networked and EMR integrated medical devices or systems. Has extensive knowledge of Networking, and best practice for Medical Device Integration to be applied to all new and upgraded medical devices and systems. Works with ProHealth Care's IT department to ensure and maintain interoperability among medical equipment and connected information systems Works with IT and Biomedical Engineering staff related to medical devices integration process and procedures. Advanced knowledge of analysis and reporting tools.
What you will need:
Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology OR military training in biomedical equipment technology, OR equivalent experience obtained through original manufacturer training. At least 6 years of experience or a combination of Education and experience. IT network and medical device integration experience. Valid State of WI Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Prefer certification in:
Biomed Equip Tech Cert (CBET) or Radiology Equipment Specialist Cert (CRES).
