Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent technical experiencePay Range:
$29/hr- 37/hr (education & experience dependent)
Status:
Full Time Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 9am
- 5pm This position requires you to be On Site and travel to our different programs, New Bedford, Brockton, Plymouth and Hyannis About Us High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field—or equivalent technical experience. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in system administration, network operations, or IT security roles. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Active Directory services. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and endpoint security tools. Experience working with system and security monitoring tools, network analyzers, and logging platforms. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for support across agency locations.Preferred:
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+,Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent. Experience working in healthcare or nonprofit IT environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such asHIPAA, NIST
CSF, or SOC 2. Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system tasks. Exposure to cloud security controls and identity management best practices. Working Conditions/Occupational Exposure Primary work is performed in an office or hybrid environment with occasional travel to on-site agency locations. Regular exposure to confidential and sensitive information requiring strict compliance with HIPAA and organizational security policies. Participation in on-call rotation for emergency support. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for system maintenance, upgrades, or incident response. Physical requirements Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (e.g., servers, networking hardware, UPS units). Ability to work in server rooms, under desks, and in other confined or elevated areas. Prolonged use of computer and office equipment. Occasional use of ladders and hand tools for hardware or cabling installations. Must be able to drive between multiple agency sites.Benefits:
