POSITION SUMMARY
The OT Cyber Security Technician is junior level position responsible for activities related to the integration and maintenance of cyber security as it relates to manufacturing equipment. The OT Cyber Security Technician will work with the MPG Controls Engineering team, MPG IT Department as well as Plant Level personnel to ensure that all cyber security risks are mitigated in accordance with MPG Cyber Security ProtocolsESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSInstall cell level firewalls, cable infrastructure and other electrical controls equipment under supervisionHelp engineers update PLC's, HMI's and other OT related firmwareCollaborate with the IT team to ensure appropriate OT security controls are implementedDevelop and maintain effective cybersecurity policies and procedures for the OT environmentWork with vendors and plant personnel to ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented and maintained across the MPG organizationParticipate in incident response and emergency response efforts as neededPerform ongoing assessments and monitoring of the OT environment to identify and mitigate potential cyber security risksJOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
