Cybersecurity Specialist - ACWS DSA Inc. 5418 S Scott Plaza (Show on map) Sep 01, 2026 All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.
Cybersecurity Specialist Summary:
Performs continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, security documentation, control support, and compliance activities for the IL-5 environment.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field 5+ Years supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, or secure operations. DoD 8140-compliant cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CASP+, CySA+ or equivalent compliant certification Knowledge of NIST controls, STIGs, POA&M management, access control, incident response, risk assessment, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and compliance documentation. DoD experience securing cloud-hosted environments, DevSecOps pipelines, application platforms, databases, and enterprise integrations. Active Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with federal security requirements, eMASS coordination, IL5/IL6 environments, low-code platforms, and compliance support for mission systems is strongly desired
Experience with Appian-based solutions in federal or regulated environments strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Implement and validate RMF security controls across ACWS applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and integrations. Conduct STIG compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments, security scans, and remediation tracking. Maintain RMF, ATO, POA&M, continuous-monitoring, and audit evidence Support secure DevSecOps pipelines, access controls, incident response, and security operations. Coordinate assessments, audits, and compliance activities to strengthen ACWS security posture and maintain authorization. #DSA209 #LE-JE1 The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. DSA - Salary Pay Range $135,000 - $145,000 USD Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
