Manager, Corporate Security

General Purpose of Position :

Manage supervisor personnel. Implement current and new security procedures and protocols. Perform daily security, safety, and public service duties. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, while assisting in various aspects of the facilities department. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) : Duties/Responsibilities 1 Maintain a safe and secure campus for corporate events; campus activities, and daily use 2 Control entry points and make roving patrols on campus 3 Monitor CCTV and fire/security system 4 Provide first aid as a first responder 5 Perform crowd control and traffic direction 6 Maintain detailed daily records of events and campus activities 7 Schedules the work week(s) for security staff

Work Shift :

This position works days, nights, and weekends.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of CCTV and Access Software Must be observant and detail oriented Have a helpful and professional personality

Education and Experience :

Previous Security/Supervisor experience preferred Outstanding Customer service experience strongly preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

Required to stand, sit, walk, talk, see, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate equipment/controls/computer. Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. Most of the work environment is indoors, but outdoor work is required. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to loud
