Duration:

6 month contract to hire Role OverviewWe are seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Specialist to support our organization's first-party and third-party cybersecurity risk management programs. This entry-level GRC role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring cybersecurity risks to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance, and will act as the "ears on the ground" for risk identification through direct engagement with various teams. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the identification, assessment, and monitoring of inherent and residual cybersecurity risks.



Assist in recommending mitigation strategies and monitor related activities.



Maintain cybersecurity risk registers, ensuring risks are properly documented, tracked, and escalated.



Contribute to enterprise risk management integration and reporting, including monitoring KRIs and KPIs.



Prepare risk management materials, dashboards, and reports for leadership and business stakeholders.



Collaborate with internal teams such as IT, Legal, Privacy, and business stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements.



Identify opportunities to improve cybersecurity risk management programs and capabilities.



Engage directly with stakeholders to observe, identify, and log potential risks.



Required Qualifications

• Understanding of privacy regulations such as PCI and SOX.1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk management, governance, or a related discipline.



Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) principles and security control frameworks.



Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders.



Ability to work onsite four days a week in the Doral, Florida area.



Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.



Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.



Experience with GRC platforms such as LogicGate, Archer, or ServiceNow IRM.Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, Security+, or CGRC.Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or SEC cybersecurity regulations.



Background in the cruise line industry.
