The Director of Security is responsible for developing and implementing the organization's security strategy, including cloud security and hardware IoT devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security platforms such as AWS, Google and Microsoft cloud environments. Embedded Hardware systems as well as IoT protocols such as MQTT, as well as experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures. What you'll own: In this high-impact role, you will: Work closely with IT, Legal, People and our cloud SREs. You will be responsible for threat hunting, automations, security tooling improvements, disaster recovery, as well as providing guidance on best practices and procedures. You will work with our embedded systems team to ensure hardware as well as software protocols follow security standards. You will also assist in code audits and validation checks. This role reports directly to the VP of Security.
