Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Information Assurance Specialist sitting onsite at the Pentagon to support post-quantum cryptography (PQC) transition and modernization efforts across DoD systems and networks. This individual will identify security risks and vulnerabilities, develop and implement Information Assurance (IA) policies and requirements, evaluate secure system and network configurations, and support the migration of enterprise environments to next-generation cryptographic capabilities. The ideal candidate will also leverage data analytics experience to assess and manage large datasets supporting security and modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
  •  Develop, test, and operate security tools used to identify risks across networks, systems, and applications.
  •  Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments to support PQC migration activities.
  •  Develop, implement, and maintain Information Assurance (IA) policies, doctrine, and security requirements.
  •  Evaluate secure system and network configurations, architectures, and security tools to ensure compliance with security standards.
  •  Analyze large datasets to support security assessments, reporting, and decision-making efforts.
  •  Contribute to project deliverables, metrics, and technical documentation.
  •  Research and recommend solutions to complex security challenges impacting enterprise systems.
  •  Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation:
$47.88/hr to $52.88/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.   •  Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  •  Bachelor's degree in a technical or cybersecurity-related field and 10+ years of related experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  •  Experience with firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), enterprise antivirus solutions, secure scripting/testing, and Information Assurance (IA) reporting requirements.
  •  Experience conducting data analysis and working with large datasets.
  •  Experience identifying security risks and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications.
  •  Experience developing Information Assurance (IA) policies, guidance, and security requirements.
  •  Experience evaluating secure system and network configurations and security tools.
  •  Experience supporting cybersecurity or Information Assurance efforts within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  •  Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Communications Security (COMSEC), or Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) security control implementation.
