| HYBRID $150,000 - $170,000 BASE + BONUS The Opportunity We're partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization that is modernizing and expanding its enterprise data platform. They're looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys building scalable data solutions, improving data quality, and creating the infrastructure that powers analytics and business decision-making across the company. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing data organization. The Team's Focus Building and scaling modern data platforms Creating reliable data pipelines and integrations Improving data quality, monitoring, and governance Supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives Leveraging cloud technologies to drive scalability and efficiency Establishing strong engineering standards and best practices What You'll Do Develop and maintain data pipelines that collect and process information from multiple sources Design data models that enable reporting, analytics, and operational insights Enhance a cloud-based data platform to improve performance, reliability, and scalability Build solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt Support and optimize Azure-based data infrastructure Lead data engineering initiatives from design through deployment Implement processes for data quality, monitoring, and operational excellence Identify and drive improvements across existing data systems Partner with analytics teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions Help define platform architecture and long-term data strategy What We're Looking For 3-8 years of Data Engineering experience Strong experience with Python and SQL Experience building and supporting ETL/data pipeline solutions Hands-on experience with dbt and modern data transformation practices Experience working with Azure or other cloud-based data environments Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and platform architecture Experience supporting production data environments and troubleshooting issues Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
