The engineer will be responsible for designing and building pipelines, designing the structures that will be usable by the Data Scientists, and identifying the best sources for the data. The engineer will also be responsible for designing and coding projects on an AI/ML Measurements Dashboard to monitor the usage and performance of AI and ML within the RJ applications. The engineer will need to demonstrate database expertise and be able to integrate domain knowledge with a technical understanding. Needs to explore new technology options in the AWS and Machine Learning space, with a high sense of ownership over every deliverable. Job Description Responsibilities Research new database technologies to take advantage of features to make the data available in the optimal format for the data scientists.
Oracle Development:
Design and optimize complex SQL queries for performance.
Python Development:
Build and maintain robust Python automation scripts. Produces dynamic, data driven solutions to support the strategic business goals.
Team Mentorship:
Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture. Help develop next generation data platforms to integrate into the Machine Learning platforms, for example, contributing to the cloud based Data Lake. Focus on designing, building, and launching efficient and reliable data infrastructure to meet ML needs.
Skills Experience:
10+ years in software development, with a strong focus on Oracle databases.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in
SQL, Oracle, and Python Business Proficiency:
Solid understanding of Financial Services products and business practices.
Experience with:
Python, Pandas, and CI/CD practices.
Optimization Skills:
Solid understanding of database performance best practices.
Leadership:
Demonstrated success in bringing innovative technical solutions for complex projects.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Education Bachelor's:
