You will consult with customers to understand business and technical requirements, design enterprise data management strategies, and implement those strategies throughout the engagement life cycle. You will work both independently and as part of project teams to configure back-end geospatial database management capabilities that support customer workflows utilizing ArcGIS web, desktop, and mobile applications. This team supports the Department of Defense, NGA and Intelligence Community clients. Responsibilities Lead strategic technical discussions with customers, guiding them through complex data architecture and database design decisions Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions to support mission-critical applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deployment Configure and maintain database environments, including backup, restore, high-availability, and disaster recovery strategies Monitor and tune database performance using industry-standard tools and methodologies (such as query optimization, indexing strategies) Implement data security measures, access controls, and compliance standards across environments Automate routine database loading, maintenance, and monitoring tasks to improve efficiency Provide technical guidance and best practices for database design, migration, and integration projects Requirements 8+ years of hands-on experience in database design, administration, and optimization for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or

SAP HANA
