The ideal candidate will have a background in data analysis, software development, data ETL systems and financial industry domain knowledge. A working knowledge or experience working with Claude Code or equivalent is highly desirable as well. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and refactor efficient big data ETL pipelines in Apache Airflow. Optimize and expand existing python-based data analysis code base. Develop multiprocessing/multithreading/highly-performant data ETL and analysis applications Develop and enhance Data Quality code base and standards for Financial Industry data sets. Provide data support to stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely project updates. Stay abreast of emerging data engineering trends and technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data practices. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of specific educational requirements. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and 2+ years with SQL in a professional setting Experience in Git, Linux Experience in processing and managing large datasets Knowledge of financial industry data, particularly in areas such as security reference data, end-of-day pricing, and trade/quote data. Primarily focused on Equities, Futures and Fixed Income. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, especially in performance tuning and optimizing data workflows. Certifications in AWS, Data Analytics, or similar technologies are a plus Claude Code and Agent experience is a plus. Why Join Us?
