Data Engineering Engineer 3

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineering Engineer 3 for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is focused on building reliable, scalable data platforms that transform large volumes of data into actionable insights.

Rate Range:

$60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Engineering Engineer 3 Job Responsibilities include: Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets. Develop and optimize data models, warehouses, lakes, and lakehouse platforms to support structured and unstructured data. Create analytical tools, scripts, and automation to improve data workflows and engineering efficiency. Ensure high performance, reliability, and data quality across all data platforms by identifying and implementing improvements. Support production data systems and continuously enhance data solutions using modern cloud and ETL technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 7 years of hands‑on data engineering experience. Proven expertise designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data platforms (data lakes/warehouses), and cloud‑based data solutions. Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and deliver production‑grade data solutions using modern ETL tools, Agile/TDD practices, and performance optimization techniques. Pay Details:
