EverforthECS is seeking aSr. Data Engineerto workremotely.
EverforthECS is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to support a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform focused on providing data solutions that empower our federal customers. In this role, you will be guiding a cross-functional team (composed of data scientists, data engineers, developers, and functional staff) to support our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office.
The Sr. Data Engineer will be a key member of our team. They will provide critical support in product development using theirexpertiseto merge technical, business, and customer needs into achievableobjectivesanddrivingthe completion of thoseobjectives. As an expert in delivering technical projects, the Engineer willidentifychallenges and improvements to process and technical innovation. The Engineer will improvea productionsystem by hardening the pipeline, improving event detection and root cause analysis, mature an AI agent analyst, and lead cross-functional team members to deliver those improvements.
Job responsibilities include:
Complete development efforts across datapipelineto store, manage, store, and provision to data consumers.
Partner with data scientists, data architects, and federal stakeholders to deploy enhancements into production.
Write code to ensure the performance and reliability of data extraction and processing.
Support continuous process automation for dataingestincluding new sources and upstream data format changes.
Achieve technical excellence by advocating for and adhering to lean-agile engineering principles and practices such assimple design, continuous integration, version control, and automated testing.
Work with program management and engineers toimplement and documentcomplex and evolving requirements.
Help cultivate an environment that promotes customer service excellence, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.
Ability to vet new and novel technologies in the big data space and AI agent space, make recommendations and articulate risk involved with each solution.
Collaborate with others as part of a cross-functional team that includes userexperienceresearchers and designers, product managers, engineers, and other functional specialists.
Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.10+ years of IT experience including experience in design, analysis, and implementation of large-scale, complex data architectures.
Support Business Development efforts through maturing strategic solution ideas and aligning them with customer needs. Proficiencyin manipulating data (Python, SQL).Ability to develop a roadmap that links the deployment of architectural capabilities within the organization to address inherent challenges faced by the organization.
Ability to work hands on with developers to deliver solutions and provide customer support and solutioning.
Strong ability to communicate technical solutions with multiple stakeholders at different leadership levels to build relationships, provide guidance, and explain business value of technical solutions.
Experience working inAgileenvironmentleveragingadvanced design and engineering best practices.
Building solutions that make use of data to improve business insights, help with operational decisions.
Knowledge of Data Management and Data Architecture concepts, Data Warehousing and Big Data tools, Data Analytics and applicable knowledge of Data Science concepts and tools.
Experience working and deploying AWSCloudnative data and AI technologies.

Salary:
