The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business intelligence, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. Position Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize Oracle data warehouse schemas, tables, and structures to support business intelligence requirements Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into the enterprise data warehouse Develop complex Power BI solutions including dashboards and semantic models Perform SQL development for data manipulation, QA, and analysis Design and document data models that balance performance, maintainability, scalability, and business requirements Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and system integration challenges Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience) Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or related discipline 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database development and data warehousing 7+ years of advanced SQL experience including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization 5+ years of Power BI development experience creating dashboards, semantic models (with DAX calculations and Power Query) 7+ years of ETL/ELT pipeline development and data integration experience 7+ years working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing both technical insights and strategic direction Demonstrated experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments with exposure to supply chain, finance, shipments, and manufacturing shop floor operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and quality Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Proven track record of delivering data solutions that drive business value Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies Master's degree in a related field Experience with modern data stack tools and technologies Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices Certification in Power BI or Oracle technologies Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Physical Demands Ability to work in an office environment (Constant) Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) Clearance Level No Clearance The salary range for this role is: $100,500 - $153,250 AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
