This position will play a critical role in evaluating potential real estate acquisitions by gathering, analyzing, and organizing property and market data to help the acquisitions team make informed investment decisions. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, identifying trends, building financial models, and turning large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights. Experience in real estate, investment analysis, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Analyze potential acquisition opportunities using property, financial, market, and comparable-sales data. Research and evaluate properties, neighborhoods, markets, and investment opportunities. Build and maintain acquisition spreadsheets, databases, financial models, and reporting tools. Analyze purchase prices, projected returns, operating expenses, rental income, renovation costs, and other investment assumptions. Review property-level data and identify discrepancies, trends, risks, and opportunities. Assist the acquisitions team with underwriting and financial analysis of prospective properties. Track acquisition pipeline activity and maintain accurate records of leads, offers, contracts, and closed transactions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management. Develop dashboards and performance reports to measure acquisitions activity and results. Gather data from public records, MLS, internal systems, market databases, and other sources. Monitor market trends and provide insights that may impact acquisition strategy. Work closely with acquisitions, underwriting, operations, and leadership teams. Improve data collection, reporting, and analytical processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Perform analysis and research as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, real estate, acquisitions, underwriting, or a related field. Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, filtering, sorting, and data organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with large amounts of data and identify meaningful trends. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in residential or commercial real estate acquisitions. Experience with real estate underwriting or investment analysis. Familiarity with MLS data, public records, property valuation, comparable sales, and real estate market research. Experience with CRM systems, real estate databases, or business intelligence tools. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data-analysis tools. Understanding of real estate investment metrics such as ROI, cap rate, cash-on-cash return, ARV, IRR, and NOI.
