•24 We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a Retail AML/Transaction Monitoring operation. The role will involve analyzing and validating data across multiple systems, supporting transaction monitoring, fraud investigations, controls testing, enhanced due diligence, and project/PMO activities. Training on Transaction Monitoring will be provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, retail banking, data validation, controls testing, project management, or related areas, along with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and validate data across multiple systems and support AML/Transaction Monitoring activities. Assist with project planning, tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, and managing project requests. Review reports and deliverables for accuracy, formatting, and compliance. Support fraud investigations, enhanced due diligence, controls testing, validations, and related operational activities. Manage multiple priorities while meeting defined KPIs and operational targets. Identify opportunities to leverage AI use cases to improve quality and productivity. Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Experience in financial services, retail banking, AML/transaction monitoring, controls testing, data validation, project management, or grants management preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) . Strong analytical, reporting, proofreading, and data interpretation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a target-driven, high-performance environment . Strong collaboration, organization, adaptability, and multitasking skills. Ability to quickly learn business processes, technical concepts, and regulatory requirements.
