Job Overview:
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver reporting, analytics, and decision-support solutions that enable informed business decisions. Acting as the data and analytics domain lead, the role is responsible for defining requirements, establishing business metrics and reporting standards, designing analytical data models and reporting datasets, and ensuring successful delivery of analytics capabilities. The position provides leadership on complex analytics initiatives, mentors other analytics professionals, and helps drive the adoption of scalable reporting and self-service analytics solutions. Through a combination of business knowledge, analytical expertise, and technical leadership, the Senior Data Analytics Engineer helps strengthen the organization's analytics capabilities and effective use of data.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of reporting, analytics, and data visualization solutions by partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define business metrics, analyze data, and enable effective use of analytics for decision-making. (25%) Design, develop, and maintain analytical data models, reporting datasets, semantic structures, and reusable analytics assets that support consistent, accurate, and scalable reporting and self-service analytics capabilities across the organization. (25%) Act as the data and analytics domain lead across business and technology initiatives by assessing impacts, defining requirements, guiding solution design, and ensuring successful delivery of reporting, analytics, and data-related outcomes. (25%) Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day work coordination for team members and contractors, including prioritization of business demand, resource allocation, solution reviews, and establishment of development standards and best practices. (20%) Support compliance activities by promoting adherence to A22
  • Global Data & Information Policy, maintaining required documentation, and providing complete, accurate, and timely information for audits, risk reviews, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience.

Minimum 5 years of knowledge required in the following:
  • Business intelligence, reporting, analytics, and data visualization concepts.
  • Data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and enterprise data management practices.
  • Business processes and data domains such as Finance, Credit, Collections, Client Services, Risk, or similar operational functions.
  • Modern analytics platforms, cloud-based data environments, and self-service analytics concepts.

5+ years of experience required in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into reporting, analytics, and data solutions. 5+ years of experience required in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. 3+ years of experience required in designing and supporting analytical data models, semantic models, reporting datasets, and reusable analytics assets. 3+ years of experience required with enterprise analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar solutions; experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure analytics services preferred. 2+ years of experience required in using Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis, automation, data profiling, or advanced analytics. 3+ years of experience required in presenting analytical findings, facilitating discussions, and communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders. 3+ years of experience required in leading analytics initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and mentoring team members.
