St. Charles, IL) to support the development of interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical tools. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday - Friday (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate:

$18/hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Transform existing datasets into interactive dashboards and visual analytics tools Support development and maintenance of dashboards using Power BI and similar platforms Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability Assist in developing and testing of APIs that connect data systems to visualization tools Perform basic statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA) under guidance Help automate data workflows and recurring reporting processes Document data sources, workflows, dashboards, and analytical methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and enhance usability

QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Data Science, or a related field Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and scripting Foundational understanding of data visualization principles Exposure to tools such as Power BI, R Shiny, or similar (preferred) Basic knowledge of statistical methods (e.g. linear regression, multivariate analysis) Interest in API development and data integration concepts Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
