Part time or Full time Position Summary Overton Industries is building a dedicated program to bring AI and data-driven decision-making into every part of our business, from the shop floor to the front office. We're looking for an AI & Data Analytics Intern to support this initiative for Summer 2027. This role offers broad exposure across the program — helping evaluate and pilot AI tools, working with data from across the business, and supporting projects that are actively shaping how Overton operates. Key Responsibilities Support ongoing AI pilot projects across departments, including quoting, design automation, predictive maintenance, quality inspection, and operational decision-making Help collect, clean, and organize data from company systems, including our ERP (JobBOSS), to support analysis and reporting Build or support dashboards and reports that track key metrics for leadership and department heads Research emerging AI tools and technologies, and help evaluate their fit for Overton's operations Assist with automation projects that reduce manual, repetitive work across departments Document new workflows, tools, and processes as they're piloted and rolled out Collaborate with team members across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Sales to understand data and process needs Present findings, prototypes, or recommendations to leadership
Qualifications Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business or Technical major with a genuine interest in AI or data analytics, preferably a rising junior or senior - all undergraduate class levels welcome to apply.
Skills:
