Job Description

Summary Client is seeking a Data Integrations & Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, systems, and business process. This person will play a critical role in designing batch data integrations that connect core banking platforms, digital applications, and third-party systems. You'll work closely with business units and technical teams to define integration needs, translate them into detailed specifications, and remain involved through deployment. If you have a foundation in SQL, strong data instincts, and enjoy designing how systems talk to each other, this is a great opportunity. Responsibilities Lead the design of batch data integrations by gathering requirements, analyzing source and target systems, and mapping data flows. Assemble complete integration design packages, including data sources/targets, file layouts, business logic, transformation rules, and delivery formats. Collaborate with project teams, system analysts, and vendors to understand integration requirements and clarify data dependencies. Write and validate SQL queries to analyze data, support mapping accuracy, and troubleshoot integration designs. Create integration specs and documentation that are handed off to the development team for build, and maintain involvement through deployment. Stay engaged across the project lifecycle to support developers, answer questions, and ensure successful delivery. Act as a liaison between the business and the development team- helping manage expectations, identify risks, and escalate blockers where needed. Contribute to consistent integration design practices aligned with architecture standards and internal governance. Required Skills 2-3+ years of experience in data and technical business analysis. Proficient in SQL, comfortable writing queries, analyzing datasets, and understanding relational data structures. Understanding of relational databases and database architecture, SQL Server preferred. Experience gathering business and technical requirements for data-centric projects. Prior experience designing or supporting data integrations, especially involving file transfers or batch processes. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders, push back when necessary, and maintain alignment across teams. Associate's Degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience working with third-party platforms, hosted SaaS systems, or digital banking applications is a plus. Familiarity with Talend or other ETL tools is helpful but not require
