Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to support business decision-making, operational performance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and proven experience in market forecasting, trend analysis, and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and models to support leadership decision-making.
Use advanced Excel functions to manipulate, summarize, and analyze data, including:
PivotTables and PivotChartsXLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFSNested IF statementsPower QueryData validationConditional formattingAdvanced formulas and financial/statistical functionsBuild and refine market forecasting models to project sales, demand, revenue, and business trends.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver meaningful analysis.
Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations based on findings.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting systems.
Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.
Support budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives through data-driven forecasting and scenario analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase efficiency through automation and best practices.
