We are seeking a Data Scientist I to support CMC analytical development activities for a cutting-edge biologics portfolio. Operating flexibly from Waltham, MA, Chicago, IL, or fully Remote, this 6-month contract role focuses on analytical data management, trending, visualization, and authoring audit-ready technical documentation to propel clinical advancements and regulatory submissions.

Waltham, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $50.00 - 55.66 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Access, extract, and reconcile analytical data across multiple LIMS, databases, and internal/external testing laboratories. Consolidate complex analytical results into standardized reporting formats, ensuring complete data accuracy and traceability. Build trend reports, data packages, visualizations, and interactive dashboards for Analytical Leads to evaluate product development and stability. Author and revise clear technical reports, memoranda, and Summary of Analytical Results (SARs) within strict quality frameworks. Maintain central data repositories and actively identify and resolve data gaps across development programs.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related scientific discipline.2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory environments.

Experience working with LIMS, electronic laboratory systems, or scientific databases.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.

Experience authoring technical reports, memos, or quality documentation.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage large datasets and multiple concurrent deliverables.
Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotech, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline. 2+ years of experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or regulated laboratory environment. Hands-on experience working with LIMS, electronic laboratory systems, or scientific databases. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Proven background authoring structured technical reports, memos, or quality documentation.
