at MSF&W Consulting in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Marucco, Stoddard, Ferenbach & Walsh provides this notice for the following full time job opportunity at the Illinois Department of Education's offices located at 100 N. Street, Springfield, IL 62777: Data Analyst.
Job Duties:
Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve data and generate standard and ad-hoc reports. Perform routine data validation, cleansing, and preparation to support data accuracy and consistency. Follow established data governance, security, and access control policies when handling sensitive data. Work with existing data warehouse and data mart structures to support data processing and reporting needs. Develop reports using SSRS or similar reporting tools. Support development of geospatial or location-based reports and visualizations using ArcGIS or similar tools, as needed. Apply established data privacy standards, including handling of FERPA-protected data. Ensure reports and outputs align with applicable accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 / WCAG). Assist in translating business requirements into technical data solutions Apply established methods to de-identify or anonymize datasets for reporting and analysis. Hybrid position; employee may work from home, and must report to the Springfield, IL client office three days per week.
Job Location:
Illinois Department of Education, 100 N. Street, Springfield, IL 62777. 40 hours per week, Salary range: $85,134 - $110,000 per year.
