The Data Analyst III/Sr responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable data models, dashboards, and actionable insights. Design, develop, and analyze data solutions that transform raw data into meaningful information to support business decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions with a strong focus on usability, performance, and data accuracy. Provide technical guidance and support to end users, including conducting office hours, troubleshooting issues, and sharing dashboard and analytics best practices. Document solution architecture, data models, technical designs, processes, and development standards. Clearly communicate solution designs, analytical findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work independently while collaborating with internal customers and cross-functional teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver project requirements.
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 6+ years of experience in dashboard development, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related area. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire dashboard development and administration. Strong SQL experience, including functions, stored procedures, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). Experience with or working knowledge of technologies such as: Data lakes and modern data architecture, Databricks, Power BI, GitHub, Python, R and Salesforce Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, accelerate analysis, and streamline technical documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address moderately complex business and technical challenges. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and business requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Oil and gas industry experience is strongly preferred. Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.
