DATA STEWARD!
The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Data Steward to join our team! In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer data used to process and fulfill orders. As a Data Steward, you will validate customer information submitted by internal and external users, conduct research and data analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain high-quality data standards. What You'll Be Doing:
Compile, research, interpret, and analyze data for business needs. Cross-check other systems to validate data. Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy of data. Ability to work independently and to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, as well as the ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and dependability. Provide information to management for higher-level reporting. Complete other assignments as required.
What We're Looking For:
At least entry-level Microsoft and computer knowledge (including Excel, Word, Outlook) Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbal. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, as well as the ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and dependability. Some exposure to master data and SAP systems Ability to analyze downstream impact of master data and business processes Business/system process testing exposure A basic understanding of data governance Ability to support continuous improvement, always looking for ideas to standardize the data environment and minimize complexity The ability to analyze root cause of a problem with an unbiased approach
Where and When You'll Work:
This is a hybrid position based out of our Greene, NY office. This position will report in-office full time during a period of training and will transition to a hybrid reporting schedule once training is complete. What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $58,000 - $75,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
