Job Description

Job Description The Senior Data Analyst supports strategic Supply Chain initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, enterprise data management, business intelligence, and cross-functional system integration. This role serves as a key contributor across major enterprise platforms, including IBM Maximo, Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Tableau reporting environments. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data analytics expertise with a deep understanding of enterprise operational systems and backend data structures. This individual will partner with Supply Chain, Data Management, IT, and vendor support teams to improve data quality, automate processes, develop reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive operational performance and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Data & Systems Support
  • Support analytics, reporting, and data initiatives across Maximo, Manhattan WMS, EDW, and related supply chain systems.
  • Assist with system upgrades, integrations, testing, and data migration efforts.
  • Partner with Data Management, Oracle, Maximo support teams, and business stakeholders to resolve data and reporting issues. Data Integration & Data Management
  • Collect, validate, map, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into the EDW.
  • Support data modeling, field mapping, standardization, and data quality initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain datasets that support reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking. SQL & Backend Analytics
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, data extracts, and reporting datasets.
  • Analyze inventory, purchasing, invoicing, and supply chain operational data.
  • Perform data validation, root-cause analysis, and reconciliation across enterprise systems.
  • Work directly with backend databases, relational data models, and source system structures. Reporting & Business Intelligence
  • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational reports.
  • Support major business initiatives through performance reporting and analytics.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve supply chain performance and decision-making. Automation & Process Improvement
  • Develop Python-based automation solutions for reporting, data processing, and workflow improvements.
  • Streamline manual processes and support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to define analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable data solutions and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for reporting tools, analytics platforms, and enterprise data solutions.

  • Minimum 5 years of data analytics experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience building dashboards in Tableau.
  • Minimum 3 years of Python experience supporting automation, data processing, data validation, and workflow improvements.
  • Minimum 5 years of advanced MySQL experience. Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Tableau certification.
  • Previous reporting experience with IBM Maximo.
  • Previous reporting experience with IBM Cognos.
Supply chain or utility industry experience.
