Job Description:
Data Scientist I/II (Part Time) Onsite, Boston, MA (Local Candidates Only)
Responsibilities:
Work closely with biologists and scientists to set up, configure, and troubleshoot Dotmatics protocols and workflows. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for Dotmatics and scientific data workflows. Optimize Oracle database performance, including SQL queries and database processes. Develop applications, tools, and data solutions for Chemistry and Biology teams. Use SQL, R, and/or Python to analyze and manage scientific data. Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to understand requirements and develop practical solutions. Support improvements to laboratory data workflows, reporting, and data accessibility
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field preferred Experience with Dotmatics or a related Dotmatics product. Strong SQL and Oracle database experience. Proficiency in R and/or Python. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
