Job Description

Data Scientist - Geospatial Data Clearance Level Required TS/SCI required The Work Working alongside senior engineers, you'll stand up pipelines for new sensor data: database tables and schemas, ETL, API-based movement between platforms, and the health alerting that catches problems before an analyst does. You'll also do real geospatial work like chipping full-scene imagery, orthorectifying, converting formats. What you'll actually do Build pipelines for new sensors. Help create the database tables and schemas, build ETL processes, and set up data health alerting for emergent sensor data. Move data between platforms. Develop API-based workflows to migrate sensor data across systems and security domains, working with senior engineers on the cross-domain pieces. Keep data conformant. Make sure sensor data adheres to government-directed schemas, formats, and governance requirements. Help assess integration impact. Identify where new sensor data differs in metadata, format, and structure, and what that means for the existing pipeline. Transform imagery. Pre-process and standardize data for labeling and model testing. What we're looking for 2+ years working with SQL or NoSQL databases in a production environment Proficiency in Python (or JavaScript or Java) and comfort writing scripts that process real data at volume A track record building and sustaining operational data pipelines across multiple data formats and interfaces Strong written and verbal communication to explain pipeline constraints to analysts and government stakeholders who don't share your background Bachelor's degree in a related field; additional experience considered in lieu TS/SCI Timeline We're moving fast on this one. $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
