We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist located in the Washington, D.C. area. What you'll do: The Mid-Level Data Scientist will provide data analytics support to D PAE Maritime M & S, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings by creating dynamic data reports. Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events. Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines. Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action. Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. Qualifications:

At least 5years of experience providing data analytics support to U.S. Navy program offices Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Eligibility to obtain a
