We build and support data management and integration tools that help school districts and state education agencies cut down on manual, error-prone data work so educators and administrators can spend less time wrangling data and more time focused on students. We work directly with districts and state departments of education across the country, and we're growing fast. About the Role We're hiring an Education Data Specialist I to own product Content for an expanded set of States and serve as a subject matter expert in education data and operations. Fluency in Spanish is required for this role — you'll be the primary point of contact for direct communication customer accounts. What You'll Own Define, prioritize, and validate product Content for your assigned States and accounts, working closely with Product Owners and the EDS Team Lead. Serve as the primary point of contact for a set of accounts, some requiring communicating fluently in Spanish on both routine operations and higher-stakes issues. Serve as SME for the product(s) you support, partnering with Product Owners to build high-quality Content catalogs. Define and execute quality assurance testing for state content to ensure common scenarios are successful before it reaches customers. What We're Looking For Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) capable of directly with Spanish-speaking customer accounts and creating help documentation and rule definitions in Spanish. Experience in K-12 education with an understanding of school district operations, educational data and data systems, and State Department of Education regulations Excellent cross-functional communication with an ability to work closely with teammates, developers, Product Owners, and customers. Experience with Student Information Systems (specifically PowerSchool or Infinite Campus). Comfortable being the go-to contact for multiple customer relationships where clear, accurate communication matters as much as the underlying data work. Nice to Have State Reporting experience within PowerSchool or Infinite Campus. Knowledge of SQL (multi-table joins, aggregate functions, subqueries). Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or JSON Why Level Data This role puts you at the center of a customer relationship where language and trust matter as much as the technical work.
