Job Description

Job Goal(s) : The overall job goal of the Perkins/CTEIS/Data Specialist is to coordinate a systematic data collection, entry, and evaluation process to ensure State compliance and improvement for Career & Technical Education programming in CEPD 34. Reports to :

Minimum Qualifications :
Education :
High school diploma required; post-secondary training preferred
Work Experience :
Minimum of three years of closely related work experience preferred
Required Skills :
Data management skills relative to data entry, storage, analysis, and presentation Communication skills relative to writing, proofing, listening, responding, personalizing, recording, telephoning and mailing Computer operation skills relative to the application of Microsoft Office Suite, as well as various Google and data management products Information search, recording, organizing and reporting skills with regard to requests for information Office organization and management skills relative to attending to people and tasks, processing communications, storing and retrieving information, scheduling, monitoring and follow up Problem solving skills that demonstrate the ability to think creatively and develop timely solutions to complex problems Dependability skills as reflected by assuming ownership for assigned responsibilities; demonstrating an ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner
Essential Job Functions :
Assist the Director, as requested, in gathering required information for formulating program proposals and reports. Coordinate with the Director on grant submissions and data collection; organize data into specified formats for the purpose of specific project grants and reports. Prepare and oversee communications as requested by the Director (Board Report, Director's Corner Newsletter, Annual Report, etc.). Career and Technical Education Information System (CTEIS) reporter for CEPD 34. Building level payroll contact. Responsible for Workforce software, hourly clocking, Red Rover PSM staff reporting in Workforce, and Additional payroll paperwork. Building level human resources contact. Responsible for New hire workflow paperwork and on-boarding process, Job vacancy paperwork and off-boarding process, and Employee Accident Reporting. Building Level professional development contact. Responsible for tracking hours & budgeting. Oversee the Corwin Meadows Homeowners Association operations and submit annual report. Prepare Out-of-County Tuition billings after Fall and Spring Count Days. Coordinate with staff to track and maintain correspondence on donation requests. Provide additional support to department administrators. Maintain confidentiality of personnel and student issues. Interact and communicate successfully with students, staff and the general public. Perform additional tasks, responsibilities and duties as assigned Regular and reliable, in person attendance. Valid driver's license required.

As per master agreement and provisions established by the Van Buren Board of Education.
