Canteen One is looking for a Data Management Specialist who understands systems and how they interact. The Data Management Specialist position manages and maintains accurate data and reporting between our systems, and our Subcontract partners' Route Accounting Systems (RAS) and Unattended Retail Systems (URS). Oversees the various processes and systems for accuracy, inventory synchronization, commission payments, and reporting. Reviews and assists with correcting machine or site set-up issues within the systems.
Responsibilities include:
creating and executing reports, analytical review of the returned data, prioritize decisions, communicate and coordinate with the responsible departments and partners, and follow-through validating that the tasks are completed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage Data Sync Process:
RAS/URS to JDE (and vice versa) for the Canteen Corporation Data integrity reviews of system machine & site set-up Inventory mass updates Identify and address data integrity issues Assist with transition process for acquisitions, sales, or transfers Address inventory updates in Subcontract Partners' systems if data integrity related Assist in correcting commission payment issues Create analytical tracking reports Assist with other credit and collections functions Train staff on Subcontract Partners' sync process, Canteen One system sync process and data validation Assist with any reporting-related matters Qualifications An Associate's degree preferred; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is strongly preferred Two years of data analysis experience is strongly preferred; with Bachelor's degree, 1 year of data analysis experience strongly preferred A minimum of 3 years business/professional experience with a high school diploma or 1 year of business experience with Associate's degree Must have strong Analytical skills Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills Must have good task management/prioritization skills Must have good oral and written communication skills Must have good Microsoft Office skills: Outlook and Word Must be familiar with basic accounting/financial/system processes Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
