We are a John Deere dealer with 35 locations serving a diverse group of agricultural, commercial, and residential customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. PURPOSE:
\r\n\r\nProvides agronomic solutions and support for the sale and use of John Deere Precision Ag Technology, Precision Upgrades Equipment, and John Deere Operations Center. Works in close collaboration with entire Precision Ag department to assist customers in optimizing precision ag technology on their farm through analytics and machine optimization deriving from data driven decisions.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBASIC
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBITIES
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tParticipates in product presentations at customer clinics, pre-Expo Meetings, John Deere Days and meetings held outside the dealership.\r\n\tProvides technical support where applicable while successfully tracking billable time.\r\n\tDevelops and delivers employee training for Operations Center, Equipment Mobile and any other applicable software or data tools.\r\n\tManages the adoption of new technology and product offerings.\r\n\tProvides support for advanced customer training for hardware and software products such as Operations Center, Operations Center Mobile and Equipment Mobile offered through John Deere.\r\n\tManages and maintains precision data services and offerings provided by the department.\r\n\tPromotes customer owned Operations Center organization utilization and optimization. \r\n\tServes as the internal and external dealership technical specialist relative to the entire Precision Ag product line.\r\n\tDevelop strategic initiatives and action items using John Deere reporting metrics to drive Engaged Acre and Highly Engaged Acre growth and overall utilization of John Deere Operations Center as a farm management tool.\r\n\tCreate, implement, and execute LEAD agronomic trials to create local data outcomes to drive Precision Upgrades and new technology sales and utilization.\r\n\tPromote and support Harvest Profit utilization with customers.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
QUALIFICATIONS:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t1+ years of experience in an agricultural-related role with activities such as sales, service, training, or other related work. Prior experience with JD technology and support is preferred or similar customer support role.\r\n\tExtremely organized, sensitive to deadlines and goals within dealership.\r\n\tMust be driven to achieve results, highly attentive to detail and accuracy.\r\n\tSolid communication skills. Can deal with and effectively resolve challenging customer issues.\r\n\tDemonstrate analytical and problem solving abilities.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Very Frequently - Short and long distances. Ability to control machinery as outlined in operator manuals. \r\n\t

Exposure to extreme weather, fumes, airborne particles and moving mechanical parts\r\n\t
Dexterity and Coordination:
Ability to grasp and manipulate tools and office equipment.
