Job Description

The Program Quality & Data Reporting Specialist plays a key role in helping our agency demonstrate impact, meet funding and accreditation requirements, and strengthen the quality of services we provide in the community. This position blends data work with people work —ideal for someone who enjoys organizing information, collaborating with program staff, and supporting mission‑driven outcomes. This role is especially well‑suited for semi‑retired professionals , parents re‑entering the workforce , or anyone with experience in grant reporting, Medicaid documentation, CARF standards, or federally funded programs who wants meaningful, flexible work that supports community services. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve data systems by managing, evaluating, and modernizing agency tracking and reporting tools, including dashboards and standard reports. Collaborate with program leaders to gather information, clarify data needs, and understand services and community impact. Support Salesforce development by working with external vendors on system design, functionality, reporting, and dashboards. Prepare and distribute operating reports for leadership, funders, and accreditation bodies. Ensure data quality through cleansing, profiling, and transforming data for migration projects and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) initiatives. Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings and support quality management functions across the agency. Analyze and present data to support program decisions, improve efficiency, and promote transparency. Respond to internal and external information requests related to reports, documentation, and file details. Prepare required documents for grants, Medicaid, CARF, and federally funded programs. Complete additional projects assigned by the supervisor or COO. Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail with accuracy in grant, Medicaid, and CARF‑related reporting. Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with program staff to gather information and understand services. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning) and familiarity with Salesforce or similar systems. Experience with nonprofit or human‑services reporting —grant reporting, federally funded programs, accreditation standards, or Medicaid documentation. Training or experience in data analytics , business analytics, information systems, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to manage multiple projects , meet deadlines, and adapt to immediate reporting needs. Clear written and verbal communication skills to translate data into meaningful insights for staff, leadership, and funders. Experience developing spreadsheets and data tools to support reporting and quality improvement.
