CMMS/BOM
Specialist to support maintenance, reliability, and asset management activities through accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) development and CMMS data management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with equipment documentation, spare parts, asset records, and maintenance systems. Key Responsibilities Bill of Materials (BOM) Development Develop and maintain asset-specific BOMs for production and facility equipment.
Research OEM manuals, engineering drawings, vendor documentation, and equipment records to identify required spare parts.
Validate BOM accuracy through field verification with maintenance technicians and engineers.
Establish standardized BOM structures, part descriptions, and naming conventions.
Link spare parts to the appropriate asset records within the
CMMS. CMMS
Data Management Create and maintain equipment records, asset hierarchies, and location structures.
Manage spare parts catalogs and material master records.
Maintain accurate and consistent equipment and materials data.
Ensure CMMS data complies with company standards and established procedures. Maintenance & Reliability Support Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs through accurate materials and asset data.
Assist maintenance planners with job plans and required parts/materials.
Support reliability initiatives by ensuring maintenance-related asset information is complete and accurate.
Participate in equipment criticality assessments.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, reliability, and other stakeholders to improve asset and spare-parts data. Ideal Candidate Experience with CMMS systems, BOM development, asset management, or maintenance data management.
Ability to interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, equipment documentation, and parts information.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to work with maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, and other cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
Comfortable working onsite and conducting field verification of equipment and assets.
